Harvard Researchers Link Prenatal Tylenol Use to Autism Risk

A new meta-analysis by Harvard scientists, reviewing dozens of studies, found evidence linking prenatal exposure to acetaminophen (Tylenol) with a higher risk of autism and ADHD in children. While the researchers stressed the need for further studies to establish a direct causal link, the findings have prompted immediate debate over warning labels and the safe use of the common painkiller during pregnancy.
